Dear you,

You don't need to have it all figured out.

Most people arrive not knowing where to start, and that's okay. Come exactly as you are, and we'll make sense of things together, gently and at your pace, with someone who has sat in the client's chair too.

Warmly,
Natalie Muraya

What we can work through together

Most people come with more than one thing on their mind. Here are the ten concerns I help with most, grouped by how they tend to show up in everyday life.

Worry & overwhelm

When your mind won't rest and your body keeps score.

Low mood & loss

For the heavy seasons, and the things that changed you.

Relationships & family

The people closest to us shape us most.

Who I am & what's next

Finding your footing, and liking the person you find.

Clinical assessments. Structured, clinically validated screening that brings clarity on what's happening and the best path forward. Start with a free self-check

I'm Natalie Muraya. Here, you'll be heard first.

Therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest. My job is to make that easy.

I'm a clinical therapist accredited by the Counsellors & Psychologists Board, Kenya's statutory regulator for the profession. I'm also a member of the Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association (KCPA) and a certified HTS (HIV Testing Services) Counsellor.

Over seven years and more than 150 clients, I've walked alongside adolescents, young adults and older adults through very different seasons of life. My work has taken me through hospital settings and mental health spaces, and I've journeyed with clients both in person and online. Wherever we meet, the work is the same: careful, confidential and centred on you.

Supporting young people through some of life's hardest diagnoses taught me early on that healing happens in the room, not in the textbook.

I've sat in the client's chair too. I know how much courage that first session takes, and how much it can change.

Lived experience keeps me humble, and training keeps me accountable. With me you get clinically grounded care, delivered with warmth, at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Strictly confidential, always
  • Clinically grounded, never one-size-fits-all
  • Warm, direct and non-judgemental
  • Culturally grounded in Kenya

How we'll start

  1. A free 20-minute call

Tell me what's going on and ask anything, including what therapy actually involves and whether it's right for you. No cost, no obligation.

  2. Book your first session

Pick a time for a 1-hour session and pay securely by M-Pesa or card.

  3. Meet, and begin

On Google Meet or Zoom, or in person on request. We start with your story, at your pace.

Haba na haba hujaza kibaba. Little by little fills the measure. No one heals in one sitting, and you don't have to.

Know where you lie.

Not sure what's going on? A short, clinically validated self-check shows where you stand right now, in about two minutes. It's free, private, and yours to bring to our first call.

Or start with what's on your mind:

Questions you might be holding

Can't find yours? Ask me anything in your free call, or on WhatsApp.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Everything you share stays between us, in line with the ethical code of the Counsellors & Psychologists Board. Your notes are stored securely and are never shared with anyone else without your written consent. The only exception is if someone's safety is at serious risk, and even then I'd talk it through with you first wherever possible.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. The 20-minute consultation costs nothing and comes with no obligation. Use it to share what's been happening, ask what therapy actually involves and how it works, and decide together whether it's the right step for you right now. If I'm not the right fit, I'll gladly point you towards someone who may suit you better.

What happens in the first full session?

We'll go at your pace. The first session is partly about getting to know each other, and partly a careful assessment. We'll go over confidentiality and how I work, talk through what's brought you here and how it's affecting your daily life, and look at your background, your support and your overall wellbeing, including any safety concerns. There are no right or wrong answers, and you only share what you're ready to. By the end, we'll agree on a few first goals and a plan for working together.

How do online sessions work?

After booking, you'll receive a Google Meet or Zoom link by email. Find a quiet, private spot where you can speak freely, and use headphones if you can. A stable internet connection helps; if the call drops, I'll reconnect with you straight away, and we won't lose your time.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

Yes, on request. In-person slots are limited, so I keep them for clients who need or prefer to meet face to face. Mention it when you book or during your consultation, and we'll find a time and place that works for both of us.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on what you're working through. We'll talk about this properly in your first and second sessions: once I understand your needs, how severe things feel and what you'd like from therapy, I can give you an honest estimate. Some people find clarity in four to six sessions; others prefer longer-term support. We'll review progress together regularly, and you're always free to pause, slow down or stop.

How do I pay?

Sessions are KES 2,500, paid online by M-Pesa or card right after you choose your time. If you need to reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, your payment carries over to the new time.

Whenever you're ready,

Write back. I'll be here.
